On the 20th January it was my moms birthday and for her birthday, as part of dessert, she wanted something cute but healthy and also quick and easy... So with those instructions I decided to set out and look for a dessert that ticked off the boxes for those descriptions but also tasted good. This made me stumble across this yoghurt cup dessert and it was amazing!

The same voice that says "give up" can also be trained to say "keep going" - unknown Hello wonderful people, I hope you are all having a fabulous new year. With January in full swing I hope you are smashing those new years resolutions. L.W ✈ *Shoves another brownie in my mouth* Me: "Agh I really should start eating better. *Sips on homemade peanut-butter hot chocolate* Me: "My face keeps breaking out and I feel so bloated." *Burps and simultaneously pops another pimple. . . * Put up an imaginary hand up if this above paragraph sounds anything like you. If so, this post is definitely for you. So take out your dust covered workout journals, put on some gangsta rap and continue reading on my dear friend.
That intro paragraph, as disgusting as it might seem, was literally the story of my life about 10 days ago. With my gap year in full swing I really thought it best to eat my way to happiness (which sadly dismally failed). Instead I was left feeling sluggish, bloated and all round BLAH. So, in honor of my new found motivation I decided to write this awesome post on "8 Realistic Health and Fitness Tips". Exercising was never meant to be easy, but that's okay because the results sure are worth it. You know what makes exercising a bit better though? A really good music playlist.
V.Z xx One thing Lindi and I can really agree on is our love for fitness and healthy living. Although we've both been kicked out of the gym (being 18 and an 'adult' definitely has it's downfalls) we still enjoy working out and telling each other about new workouts we've found online.
You don't need fancy machines to look good...and if not having a gym membership is your excuse for being lazy then you better start looking for a new excuse after you've read this. The rest of you who just keep complaining about how you just don't have time, don't worry we've got your back because this quick routine just have 6 exercises, so stop being lazy and go find those dusty takkies you've got hidden in your shoe cupboard. If you're STILL complaining about how hard it is, then I only have one last thing to say to you....matter of fact it's a quote and it goes like this " I hated every minute of training, but I said 'don't quite. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.' "- Muhammad Ali. V.Z xx Do you ever crave something refreshing for those stinking hot days of Durban? I love making smoothies and any iced drinks.
This awesome coffee Frappé is great for an instant coffee fix and tastes amazing. It is sugar free, yet sweet and majorly refreshing. This Frappé is healthy and, made in a few simple minutes. L.W ✈ |
