Exercising was never meant to be easy, but that's okay because the results sure are worth it. You know what makes exercising a bit better though? A really good music playlist.
V.Z xx One thing Lindi and I can really agree on is our love for fitness and healthy living. Although we've both been kicked out of the gym (being 18 and an 'adult' definitely has it's downfalls) we still enjoy working out and telling each other about new workouts we've found online.
You don't need fancy machines to look good...and if not having a gym membership is your excuse for being lazy then you better start looking for a new excuse after you've read this. The rest of you who just keep complaining about how you just don't have time, don't worry we've got your back because this quick routine just have 6 exercises, so stop being lazy and go find those dusty takkies you've got hidden in your shoe cupboard. If you're STILL complaining about how hard it is, then I only have one last thing to say to you....matter of fact it's a quote and it goes like this " I hated every minute of training, but I said 'don't quite. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.' "- Muhammad Ali. V.Z xx We all know how hard it is to start eating healthy after binging on tons of food, especially after the festive seasons. No one really likes the idea of having to give up on all the delicious foods and snacks just to have it replaced by celery sticks, salads, brown rice etc.
If we are being completely honest, many of us have given up trying to eat healthy because we just craved that slice of pizza or that two for one Cadbury special.. No one said it was impossible though. One just needs to set goals that are achievable. Remember, whatever weight you gained was over a period of time. In the same way, you will lose it over a period. So even when following a healthy lifestyle, allow yourself to enjoy a treat now and again. V.Z xx Stop complaining and start doing. Life was never meant to be easy, sometimes you just have to look at it from a different angle, to really appreciate all it's worth. Finishing matric in 2015 really opened my eyes. From the endless exams, my matric dance and of course countless drama which comes with being in an all girls school. It all had its ups and downs but guess what? I survived! However, if there was one thing I could’ve told myself in the beginning of the year that would have been: Slow down, Take it easy, SLEEP IF YOU NEED TO. V.Z xx |
