A beginners guide to: makeup brushes.
If you know me, you'll know I love makeup. I found these awesome mini brushes from Woolworths. They are super affordable and multipurpose. They are the perfect brush set for a makeup newbie.
The set includes every brush you will need to begin your venture into the big world of makeup.
This brush is great for applying loose powder onto your face. It's main purpose, is to apply powder blusher onto your check bones.
However I do find it a bit to soft for my liking.
Lash & Brow Groomer
This is by far my favorite brush of all times. The actaul brush side is used to control 'em bushy brows and put those bad boys in order. I use this to shpe my brows before apply my DIY eyebrow gel (yes, I made my own gel, holla if you want me to do a tutorial on it) and eyebrow pencil (sadly, not DIY, but i'm working on it.)
The comb side, can still be used to shape the brows, or you can use them comb your lashes. This will help keep the from getting cluttered when apply masrcar. I like to put a bit of coonut iol on them before apply mascra.
This brush is great for general coverage and blending in eyeshadow. If you want to apply a base colour to your whole eye lid or just a dark shadow for the crease, this should be your 'go-to' brush.
**Excuse the bite marks. My dog got a hold of the brush. . .**
I use this brush for a more defined look. For example, when I need to but eye-shadow on my lower lid , or corner of the eye.
The lip brush is my second favorite tool. This is used to apply your lip colour or lip gloss with perfect precision. It is a great help if you do not have lip liner nearby.
