I have been desperately searching for a good eyeshadow palette that has a variety of different shades. I realised that all my shadows fell under a similar colour scheme, which was mostly black, brown and gold. These colours are safe and you can't really go wrong with them. However I did want to experiment a bit more with colour. So I searched long and hard until I stumbled upon the "UD xx Vice Ltd Reloaded" palett. For a week or two I went back and forth in my mind as to whether or not to buy the palette but I finally did and I 100 % have no regrets.
L.W ✈ As a young girl growing up, makeup was always something of an interest to me. The very idea of "painting" my face with any colour I could ever imagine excited me. Obviously though, as time went by and years passed my love for makeup only increased. Although, it did go from the painting of the face to very minimal lip and eye wear.
V.Z xx Quick confession, when we first paired this look I was extremely hesitant. On the bed the shirt looked miles to big, and the shoes screamed, 'Jesus where you at?'
However, once Natercia threw on the shirt, rolled the sleeves up, and grabbed a few accessories . . . I thought "darn, we did good". I swear I left her house and hunted in my dads closet for my own oversized shirt. L.W ✈ Hey everyone, I'm so excited about this particular blog post because what makes it so different from the others is that this one is a special collaboration with none other than HomeAway.
We all know that Winter is almost over...almost. Which means that Spring and Summer are closer than we think. What better way to spend your first Sunny weekend in the new season then a trip to the beach! We were talking with some friends from HomeAway and they decided on the brilliant idea of creating a list of five essentials every women needs when heading on a vacation to the beach and asked us what these five essential items were to us. V.Z xx Well hello there. It seems like forever and a day since I last sat down to write a blog post. When I first began this whole blogging journey I thought it would be super easy and that posting once a week would be a breeze, however life happened and so we took a blogging hiatus.
But Vimbai and I are back and better than ever. We have some awesome blog post coming your way including a fun collaboration with HomeAway, so watch this space. . . This week I want to talk about my favorite skincare company, Annique. Since I was 13 years old my mom has bought me their products and for some reason I stopped using them last year, worst decision ever! My skin reacted really badly and continued to breakout. So eventually I wandered back to Annique and my skin has been looking better ever since. L.W ✈ Winter is officially here, it's been a long road but with Summer showing us flames this year, all I can say is that I've BEEN waiting for this season. Winter is definitely without a doubt my favourite season, and winter fashion hardly disappoints.
One of my favourite things about Winter, apart from drinking Chai Tea all day everyday, the cuddle weather, sleeping in my high knee socks, I would say is getting to layer my clothes. Now when I say layering my clothes I don't mean wearing every item I own. Layering is definitely not a skill, but it is something that needs to be done right or else you'll just look like a huge mess. Men's fashion has done well with layers, and this is evident in the way many leather jackets come with hoodies built in, and if not built in...then they do it themselves and it never seems to go wrong. Before you ladies start to complain, there's a lot that can be paired together. It's just all about finding the right layers to put together. *Major tip though* if you're going to put layers on, rather stick to slim fitting pants on the bottom, you don't wanna start looking like you're just a person who doesn't know what clothe size they wear. V.Z xx *Shoves another brownie in my mouth* Me: "Agh I really should start eating better. *Sips on homemade peanut-butter hot chocolate* Me: "My face keeps breaking out and I feel so bloated." *Burps and simultaneously pops another pimple. . . * Put up an imaginary hand if this above paragraph sounds anything like you. If so, this post is definitely for you. So take out your dust covered workout journals, put on some gangsta rap and continue reading on my dear friend.
L.W ✈ It's almost that time of the year again, that time when all that you've been working on finally comes into play. When you get tested on everything and anything the teacher/lecturer decides to throw at you and all you can do is prepare and hope for the best.
V.Z xx If there's one thing people know about me, it's my love for braids. Majority of the time if there's any hairstyle i'll have it's usually braids. There's just something about them that i really love.
V.Z xx Winter is my favourite season, and with the way summer brought us flames this year, all I can say is that I’ve BEEN waiting for winter. Like I said before, I love me some winter fashion. One must have item this winter would definitely be a pair of boots…or a few pairs of boots.
Winter is just a season I absolutely adore, not just because I get to drink all the Chai Tea I want all day every day, or because of the cuddle weather, or even the fact I get to sleep in knee-high socks. Nah, it’s definitely because of the fashion and of course the boots and with it being right around the corner, I'm just so excited. There are just so many different types of boots these days, there’s military boots, gumboots, high-knee boots, ankle boots…honestly the list is infinite. What I also love about boots is how you can pair them with any outfit and they work. Not to mention that boots work with everyone, no matter what your age is, old or young, tall or short. For this exact reason I’m definitely making boots a must have this winter. V.Z xx |
