Well hello there. It seems like forever and a day since I last sat down to write a blog post. When I first began this whole blogging journey I thought it would be super easy and that posting once a week would be a breeze, however life happened and so we took a blogging hiatus. But Vimbai and I are back and better than ever. We have some awesome blog post coming your way including a fun collaboration with HomeAway, so watch this space. . . This week I want to talk about my favorite skincare company, Annique. Since I was 13 years old my mom has bought me their products and for some reason I stopped using them last year, worst decision ever! My skin reacted really badly and continued to breakout. So eventually I wandered back to Annique and my skin has been looking better ever since. L.W ✈ Although the products are not expensive 'per say' they are leaning towards the more expensive price range. However a 100ml tube of product can last anywhere from 1 - 3 months (if you cut the tube and scrape out all the product). Here is a list of the 3 products I use and the order I use them in. (the great thing about Annique is that you don't have to go out and buy 101 different items in order to achieve amazing results.) 1. CLEANSE Crystal Clear Cleanser This cleanser is the bomb dot com. It is "A delicate herbal cleanser Wipes away dirt and leaves skin refreshingly clean and even toned. It also contains fruit acids to gently exfoliate dead skin cells and remove oiliness." I apply a pea sized amount into the palm of my hand and gently massage it onto my face. I do this daily when taking a shower. I love the way it makes my skin feel. 2. EXFOLIATE Essense Crème Exfoliator Secondly I go in and exfoliate my face using the same method. Exfoliating "helps with the removal of dead skin cells, impurities and aids with the stimulation of the skin’s rate of cell renewal." I notice that a lot of my pimple scars and blackheads have disappeared as a result. 3. MOISTURIZE Moisture Shield Spf 8
Once I hop out of the shower I dry my face and apply moisturiser. The great thing is that it contains enough SPF to protect my skin from the sun's UV-rays! The products is not oily so it won't cause breakouts or leave your skin oily. This moisturiser works like magic especially in the dry winter months! It can be extremely difficult to buy skincare products on student budget but Annique skincare is worth the splurge. Your skin will thank you. Plus breakouts and skin damage will be a thing of the past! So go on and give them a try and let us know if you do! (This is not a sponsored post. All products were purchased by me therefore all opinions are my own and 100% honest.)
