Since I have been in America for some reason I have seen the Dollar Shave Club come up way too many times! So finally I caved and joined the club. The first month of the Dollar Shave Club is literally just that a dollar!! What? Yes, that's right just $1 for a brand new razor and 4 razor blades but honey there is a catch. After your first month, your blades will be sent at their normal rates." However, the blades are super affordable starting at $1 and shipping is cheap too. Not too bad eh. . . BUT just how good can a $1 razor be? Read more to find out my experience. L.W ✈

Here's the thing...I've never been to a spa, I've never been pampered, and I've never done a facial before. So a couple of nights ago I decided to treat myself to a little TLC. How, you may ask? Oh, just by buying a deep cleansing purifying charcoal mask. My honest opinion? I LOVED IT! That says a lot coming from me, just by the way, because only a few things ever fully satisfy me. It did however, have it's shortcomings, but let me just explain to you why I enjoyed it so much.
V.Z xx I recently subscribed to an app/site called Influenster. The main aim of Influenster is to help people discover products/brands that they may have not heard of. The main reason people join is in hopes of receiving a VoxBox. Basically, Influenster gives select people the opportunity to try out new products, review them and then share their thoughts with their followers. A VoxBox is 100% free. I recently received my second VoxBox which was filled with elf products. So I wanted to write my opinion on the Hydrating Mask and Primer that I received.
L.W ✈ I have been desperately searching for a good eyeshadow palette that has a variety of different shades. I realised that all my shadows fell under a similar colour scheme, which was mostly black, brown and gold. These colours are safe and you can't really go wrong with them. However I did want to experiment a bit more with colour. So I searched long and hard until I stumbled upon the "UD xx Vice Ltd Reloaded" palett. For a week or two I went back and forth in my mind as to whether or not to buy the palette but I finally did and I 100 % have no regrets.
L.W ✈ As a young girl growing up, makeup was always something of an interest to me. The very idea of "painting" my face with any colour I could ever imagine excited me. Obviously though, as time went by and years passed my love for makeup only increased. Although, it did go from the painting of the face to very minimal lip and eye wear.
V.Z xx Well hello there. It seems like forever and a day since I last sat down to write a blog post. When I first began this whole blogging journey I thought it would be super easy and that posting once a week would be a breeze, however life happened and so we took a blogging hiatus.
But Vimbai and I are back and better than ever. We have some awesome blog post coming your way including a fun collaboration with HomeAway, so watch this space. . . This week I want to talk about my favorite skincare company, Annique. Since I was 13 years old my mom has bought me their products and for some reason I stopped using them last year, worst decision ever! My skin reacted really badly and continued to breakout. So eventually I wandered back to Annique and my skin has been looking better ever since. L.W ✈ If there's one thing people know about me, it's my love for braids. Majority of the time if there's any hairstyle i'll have it's usually braids. There's just something about them that i really love.
V.Z xx How does the saying go? "Give a woman the right lipstick and she can conquer the world?" hmm well whatever the real saying is...I'm sticking with that version. Personally, I love lipsticks. I just feel they make the world a better place. With so many colours to choose from I feel it just brightens up the face. However, a slight problem with my dream of owning a lot of different colours is the price range.
A good lipstick isn't cheap especially one from places like Mac, Elizabeth Arden and Bobbi Brown. Recently though I've come across many other lipsticks which are just as good as our favourite brands but cost up to half the price! So here is just a few colours I absolutely love which mimic their rival sisters and work just as great. V.Z xx All you need is red lipstick Let’s just get one thing straight, I do not like dark circles under my eyes. It simply makes me look tired and run down. Yes, yes it's probably because I am but hey I don't want people to know that! A little while ago I decided that I simply could not, and needed to find a quick fix to this problem. I did what any resourceful human would have and turned to the one source of all knowledge . . . GOOGLE! Just like I suspected my dearest friend, google, had my back, so now I have yours. You will need red lipstick, a concealer and a foundation. Don’t forget to warm up that wrist because this trick requires a lot of blending sista! Definitely check out: Deepica Mutyala YouTube tutorial if you get lost. L.W ✈ Now ladies (and gentlemen), this is a subject matter very close to my heart, our dear friends the eyebrows. I take it very seriously so don't mind the tough love I'm about to give.
Over the past few years eyebrows have become a staple piece on a women's(and some men's) face. Most of the time we get it right...but there's just too many lost souls out there whose eyebrows haven't quite got it right, and for that same reason I've made it my mission to write about it and give advice when needed. Now trust me, I am by no means saying that my eyebrows are perfect and I'm not saying everyone's eyebrows have to be. In fact, I solute those ladies who have had natural eyebrows all their lives and have not changed the natural shape of it (cue in Cara Delevingne). Power to you ladies for not conforming to the majority. But, to the rest of us who continue to put ourselves through 10 minutes of pain waxing, tweezing, threading or just filling in the brows for ultimate fleekage and bragging rights. This article is for us. I've listed five tips to make sure your eyebrows stay winning whether natural or done up for the ultimate fleekage rights. V.Z xx |
